Elvis fans are often, to put it mildly, rather obsessive about what they like and what they don’t like.

And that often means that buying gifts for them can be rather tricky.

So with that in mind, how exactly should you go about finding and buying the right Elvis Gifts?

Well, the key thing to understand first is what they actually like. Some Elvis fans are into memorabilia: original posters, photos and signatures for example. Some love Elvis branded jewellery or clothing. Others prefer the weird and wonderful: Elvis ash-trays, lampshades, mirrors, even cuckoo clocks.

Better still, a serious collector and fan is likely to be interested in reading about Elvis, or watching documentaries and films. As long as they don’t already have the item, they’ll appreciate it and you don’t need to worry about buying the exact authentic 1960s version.

Novelty is the key for those who like fun Elvis things. Perhaps matching the same type of thing they have already: instead of a furry Elvis frog toy go for a cure Elvis monkey.

If it’s Elvis jewellery they like, or Elvis clothes – match what you buy with their personal style. If they like over the top things, then get them something over the top: an item dripping with Elvis images, for example. For those who like things a bit more subtle, items with a little Elvis detailing or a logo may be better. And, of course, make sure you get the right size.

There are so many places you could go. Good old google is your best source of help here. But make sure you’re dealing with a reputable retailer. Make sure they have good feedback on eBay. When buying online, make sure that the store is security verified and has a money back guarantee.
